Origins

Her 1727 marriage (intention) in Stow, MA (vital records) refers to her as "Thankful Taylor OF SUDBURY." Examination of Sudbury records find no other Thankful Taylor besides the daughter of Richard Taylor and Sarah. Therefore she is not -- as some have claimed -- the Thankful Taylor b. in 1713 in Marlborough, dau of Daniel Taylor.

Legacy

Her death is not listed in the Grafton vital records. Last mention of her there is the 1749 Grafton death of her daughter Ruth, where she is identified as "Widow Thankfull Hall."
