Syvert C. Iverson, 84, who resided at 1005 Collins, died Monday night at his home following a short illness. He was born Jan. 12, 1861, at Riceford, the son of Christian and Bertha Iverson. He later moved to Houston and then to Austin, where he resided the past 32 years.

On Nov. 2 1895, he married Johanna Belgam at Caledonia. They were the parents of six daughters and two sons, one, Bernard, having died in infancy. Mr. Iverson is survived by his wife, six daughters, Mrs. Ed Ross (Mabel), Mrs. Ed McNally (Frances), Mrs. Otto Anderson (Cora), Mrs. Lynn Francis (Gladys), Ella Iverson and Mrs. Bernard VonFeldt (Lillian), all of Austin, a son Joseph Iverson of Milwaukee, two brothers, Edward and Christ of Mabel.
