1993 - Obituary: TAVARES — MS. NICKERSON, 1020 Belmont Circle, Tavares, died Wednesday, Sept. 15. She was a retired plant supervisor with New York Telephone Company for 34 years. Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., she moved to Central Florida in 1979. She was a member of St. Edward's Episcopal Church, Mount Dora. She was a member of the Tavares Order of The Eastern Star Chapter 127, a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a director of Share-A-Home of the Golden Triangle. She was past director of the Tavares Chamber of Commerce. She was a former member of the board of directors of the Tavares Recreation Association. There are no immediate survivors.
