    Susan Gentleman was born by 1595 (based on marriage in January 1614/5), probably in Southwold, Sussex, England.[1] She was the daughter of Thomas Gentleman of Southwold and his wife Christian Cock. She was named in the will of her father at which time she was unmarried and under age 18. She was also named in the will of John Cock as Susan Jentleman, along with all of her other siblings.
