In 1764 Ephraim Moore and Dorothy (Brintnall) Moore his wife [presumably maiden name added by author], Parnel Moore of Sudbury, widow [author claims Parnel (Brintall) (Parker) Moore, widow of Uriah Moore], and Susanna Thacher of Rutland, widow, quit-claimed to Phineas Brintnall their right in land in Rutland, formerly belonging to Thomas and Hannah Brintnall [citing Worcester Deed Vol. 51, p. 499]. [The transcription of "Susanna Thacher" in this source is undoubtedly a misreading of Susanna "Flecher", as she was a widow in 1764, following Dr. Hezekiah Fletcher's death in 1754, and preceding her marriage to Jacob Sweetser in 1769, and since Susannah Sweetser, formerly wife of Dr. Hezekiah Fletcher, had an age at death that matched the recorded birth and baptism of Susannah Brintnall, and there is no occurrence of the name Thacher or Thatcher in the Rutland VRs.]
