"The date of death of Thomas Perrin does not appear, nor that of his wife Susanna; but, on September 18, 1713, Ephraim Roberts, of Haverhill, as administrator 'att Large' upone the estate of 'Susanna Roberds of Ipswich,' was required to give bond, and was ordered to bring in an inventory 'before y^e first Monday In June Next Ensueing.' [Essex County Probate, Book 311:40.]" … "John (Roberts)², b. about 1646, in Ipswich." [implies that Susan's marriage to Robert Roberts occurred before 1646.]
↑ Some secondary sources specualate that Susan Downing may have been Susanna, wife of (1) Robert Roberts of Ipswich and (2) Thomas Perrin of Ipswich. No credible evidence appears to support that speculation.
