She died at Cambridge on 17 April 1654. … The inventory of the estate of "Susan Barstow, lately deceased at Cambridge," taken 4 May 1654, totalled £66 2s. 5d., against which there were debts of £5 16s. The court granted "administration of this estate of Susan Bearstow to Tho[mas] Marrit her father" and ordered "that the estate be thus divided: There being two children surviving the one a daughter, called Margaret, about 4 years old, and upward, the other a son called George, about 2 year old & 2 month," they are to be brought up by their grandfather, who is to pay to Margaret £14 at age 18 or at marriage and to George £28 at age 21 |MPR Case #1334|.
