The marriage of Stephen Johnson and Deborah Radcliff is recorded as of 1830. The oldest child in this 1850 census record was born abt 1831. So the ages of Stephen and Deborah didn't look right and a search was begun to find more evidence of their ages. I did not find the family in 1860 or 1870 but Deborah is found in 1880 as a widow living with her married daughter Lucy. Deborah's age on that record was 67 years; so Stephen's age is estimated to be similar to hers.
