Facts and Events
Stephen was granted "a garden place in the neighborhood at Wellingsley" Dec. 31, 1641; he was granted eight acres of upland at Loute Pond Sept. 16, 1641. In August of 1643 he was one of those Plymouth townsmen found fit to bear arms. He was propounded a freeman June 1, 1647, and took the oath of fidelity in Plymouth in 1657. Stephen was appointed surveyor of highways in Eastham June 6, 1654. He died February 1694. |
