    [Note: a birth 8 Jan 1745/46 is impossible, being too close to Samuel's birth in Aug 1746. Thus, it is assumed that the actual birth record is 8 Jan 1745, and the compilers used the wrong double-dating. The baptism in 1743/44 would be only 10 months after the birth of Benjamin, assuming he is 1742/43, and impossible if he is 1743/44. Thus, it appears that both dates probably mean 1744/45, which makes everything fall nicely into the correct order of baptism shortly after birth.]
