[1741-2] Feb. 28. Solomon Son to Abijah & Tabitha Wheeler. near a m. old.
[Note: this record is a baptism record in a section of baptisms. However, many of the baptisms have added notes about the children dying later. The original date is for the baptism, as later deaths show a subsequent death date. This record has no subsequent date added, nor the word died, but Source:Wheeler, Albert Gallatin. Genealogical and Encyclopedic History of the Wheeler Family in America, p. 706, apparently mistakes it for a death record. This Solomon appears to be the Solomon Wheeler #18110 "of Kingston, R.I." (per Wheeler, the marriage record only says "of Kingston") who m. in Concord 1764 Abigail Stratton. The far more credible George Tolman thinks so. (Since the marriage is also recorded in Kingston, Mass., i.e., not RI, to Abigail of Concord, it is apparent just how unreliable is anything found in Wheeler.) Tolman and the marriage records are cited for his marriage on Family:Solomon Wheeler and Abigail Stratton (1).]
