  2. Source:Pratt, Robert L. Descendants of William Story Who Came to Ipswich, Massachusetts in 1637, p. 60, says Solomon was born in Norwich, CT. [[Source:Storey, Betty Andrews. Descendants of William Story and Sarah Foster of Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts], p. 30, gives the birthplace as Ipswich, MA. The previous child was recorded in Preston, CT; the next two in Ipswich, MA, but no birth record for Solomon has not been located. In the probate file of Mary's father, Solomon Story acted as a witness for Stephen Choate's receipt, dated Ipswich 22 Oct 1726, so it is thought Ipswich is more likely.
