    [Note: Wheeler says the father lived in Rutland and moved to Hubbardston about 1766, but then precedes to use the Hubbardston record for the birth, showing a year of 1763. Presumably the Hubbardston was recorded after the fact, ergo less reliable, and given the marriage of the parents in Nov 1763, it appears this date in 1764 is correct.]
