    [Note: the wife is incorrect. Clearly the author did not see the marriage record showing the wife to be Abigail Hartwell. Nor did he see the birth/deaths records of the children which identify their mother as Abigail, relying solely on baptism which apparently only name the father. One can only presume the author assumed the mother's name based on the name given to their only daughter?]
