Sherwood Harris No. 2 lived in Granville, North Carolina during the Revolutionary period and was a Justice of the Peace, which was much desired position in those days, as the office made the holder the Community Adviser. Sherwood Harris No. 2 later moved to Wake County and from there with the Williams families moved to Anson County in 1800. His will was dated Aug. 23, 1805 and probated Oct. 1805 in Anson County. It was witnessed by Jordan Flake and Benjamin Williams. He mentions the following children:
