[Note: Vinton gives no marriage date, and of the 10 children, only the last one listed, Seth b. 1778, is shown with a birthdate. In fact, according to Attleboro records, the marriage is in 1778 and the child Seth is the first one in the family, which given the birth of this Seth in 1723, strongly suggests Vinton has assigned this family to the wrong man. The Seth who m. 1778 Sarah French was probably the son Seth b. 1755 to Vinton's Seth #1767, for whom Vinton has no details, and does not follow his line, but who is easily identified in Attleboro records because his marriage in 1739 occurred when this Seth was only 16. There is no further records that appear to belong to this Seth, and he may have died young?]
