  3. The death date is not recorded in Mendon VRs and its basis is unknown. It is repeated in many places, including on two separate Find A Grave memorials (here and here) placing Seth in two different graveyards! Neither one has a picture of a gravestone (many Quaker graves are unmarked). Seth apparently wrote a will, as guardian files for his minor sons David and Mark refer to Seth Jr. as executor and guardian. But no probate file seems to exist for Seth Sr. Seth Jr.'s bond as guardian is dated 28 May 1799, which casts some doubt on the given death date, as wills were rarely processed that fast. Perhaps the assertion should say before this date?
