Sarah2 STORY (William1), born 8 Aug 1641 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts; died 1721. She married on 29 Oct 1661 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts Richard WALKER, born about 1637 in England; died in Reading, Essex County, Massachusetts, son of Captain Richard WALKER and Jane TALMADGE. See Robert L. Pratt reference, page 5 for children, spouses and some descendants of Richard Walker and Sarah Story. He is recorded as a Tythingman in 1679. On 20 Dec 1677 he was granted "too pine tres" to use upon the house where he now lives. Gives date of marriage and children Hannah, Sarah, Richard and Joseph.

Note: However, in the Great Migration Begins p 1910 Anderson notes "There is no evidence to tie Richard Walker of Ipswich, who married in 1661 Sarah Story to this family" Indicating he does not believe Richard Walker of Ipswich was actually son of Captain Richard WALKER and Jane TALMADGE of Lynn who are covered in his sketch.
