... His second son, Joseph Addleman, was the grandfather of our subject. He married Sarah Pierce, and to them were born ten children. In 1826, his sons, John M. and Caleb, accompanied by their sister Orpha, came to Wayne County, Indiana, and in 1828, the father brought the remainder of the family.
