Martha Ogle recalled fond memories of her Great-Aunt Sarah staying with the family. Martha would crawl into bed and listen to stories told by her Aunt Sarah about the family. Sarah Morehouse told Martha that she had fallen in love with a young man, but her father Jonathon Morehouse disapproved. She was forced to choose, and then she never married. "Aunt Sarah Morehouse worked as hard as a man on the family farm. After her step-mother became ill, she moved to town and took care of her. Dr. Musselman bought a house for them on Connelly Street. After Catherine Morehouse died, Aunt Sarah became a slave in the Musselman home. She fell and was injured. Molly kicked her out because she couldn't work. She moved in with her sister, my Grandmother Martha Jane Hipple. Uncle Andy and Aunt Anna Hipple Wilson lived there also. Uncle Paul was divorced and lived upstairs. That made Grandpa and Grandma, Aunt Sarah, Aunt Anna, Uncle Andy, and Uncle Paul -- quite a houseful. Aunt Anna and Uncle Andy then put a down payment on a house on Central, but rented it until it was paid for. They remodeled it and moved in. When Grandpa died, they asked Grandma Hipple to move in. Aunt Sarah wasn't specifically invited, but she was welcome. They rented out the Cherry Street house, and that money was Grandma's money. A Gilbert rented the house. Aunt Anna nursed Grandma and then especially Aunt Sarah until they died."
