Death came as a welcome release to a patient and long-suffering spirit in Bowmanville Hospital, Friday March 5, Sarah Maria Trimm, wife of Elias Trimm, Tyrone, was born in Clarke Township seventy-two years ago. She was the youngest daughter of Herbert Moffat and Harriet Nelson (sic.) Beside her husband, she leaves to mourn her loss, one daughter, Mrs. Robert Bailey, Windsor, two grandchildren, Tpr. Jack Trimm, now stationed at Camp Dundurn, Saskatchewan, and Mrs. David Park, Shaw's; two great-grandchildren, Thomas and Kenneth Park. Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Henry Jacks, Manvers Road, and Mrs. Harry Perkins, Teeswater.
The floral offerings were lovely and friends and relatives were present from Toronto, Oshawa and Bowmanville. Pallbearers were: Roy Metcalf, Roy Trimm, Archie Thompson, Albert Hill, Archie Virtue and David Park.
