"After Sarah married Newett Drew, John and Rebecca Hays relinquished their
rights to some property in Tazewell County, VA and this is also recorded in
Wilson County, TN records. This property was given to Sarah and Newitt as
a gift, and it is believed it was the land that had belonged to her father.
It was adjoining James Maxwell's land and Audley Maxwell signed an oath
