She was not the sister of John Loomis, father of Joseph Loomis the immigrant to New England. Joseph's grandfather John Loomis died in 1567, and thus could not have been Sarah's father.

Since it is known that another John Loomis (cousin to the father of the immigrant Joseph) had 3 daughters, two of whose names are not known, she might have been one of them. Or she could have been the daughter of that John's son John, whose son William was baptized and buried the previous year.
