  3.   Note: Source:Long, Hallock P. Long Genealogy, p. 7, says that Sarah, d/o Capt. John Long and Abigail Norton was bp. "2/26/72" and m. 1694 Capt. Abraham Hill Jr. There is no such baptism in Source:Charlestown, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. Records of the First Church in Charlestown, 1632-1789, nor is it even clear how this would mesh with the June 1672 birthdate found in the Charlestown records (regardless of whether this claim meant the old style or new style month #2, April or February). Further no such marriage is found in either Charlestown, as implied above, or in Woburn as claimed by Wyman below. Source:Wyman, Thomas Bellows. Genealogies and Estates of Charlestown, Massachusetts, 1629-1818, Vol. 2, p. 627, says that the death record cited should say 1671, not 1672, and therefore that the second daughter survived. This is plausible if speculative and makes it reasonable that he further says that this Sarah m. [Vol. 2, p. 500] Woburn 29 Jun 1694 Abraham Hill. However, no daughter Sarah is mentioned in the abstract given of the father's will in 1683 (no mention would be expected in the mother's will of 1720 as Abraham Hill's wife Sarah d. 1695 and her only son died soon after). And, as mentioned, no marriage record is found. More evidence is needed to contradict a vital record (the death in 1672) than is given here.
