In Westerly, R. I., Nov. 8, 1885, of typhoid fever, Sarah Ann Babcock, widow of the late James Babcock, in the 66th year of her age. Eight weeks from the death of her husband she was called to join him in the better land. Mrs. Babcock was the daughter of Pardon and Sarah Lewis. In her youth she made a profession of religion and held through life a saving hope in Jesus Christ. Two daughters and three sons in a few short weeks are bereft of father and mother. “God hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.”
