Your great-great grandmother, Sarah Catherine Kagey was a sister to my grandmother, Nancy Bell (Kagey) Walker. Their father and mother were: Christian B. Kagey, born 21 October 1829 in Ashland County, Ohio and married to Mary Ann Treesh, born 26 April 1835 in Ashland County, Ohio. They were married on 23 March 1854 in Dekalb County, Indiana. Father and mother of Christian were Isaac Kagey, born about 1803 in Virginia and married to Ann (Anna) Brinker, born about 1809 in Virginia. The father of Mary Ann (Treesh) Kagey was Michael Treesh, born in Westmoreland County, Pa. on 28 March 1811, married to Catherine Wagner who was also born in Pennsylvania. This is as far back as I go right now. However, you will find Samuel and Sarah both buried in the Sixteen Cemetery in Dekalb County, Indiana alongside Christian and Mary Ann. Feel free to e-mail me.
