  4. There is variation among researchers. An alternate date is 1657. An alternate place is Saco, Maine. Prior to statehood Maine was part of Massachusetts. Best guess is that her father James remarried after the death of a first wife and moved to Essex. Sarah (Jeanne) was the first child of his second wife, and was born in Essex.
