On 7 Apr 1789 Sterling Dugger obtained a marriage bond in Brunswick Co., VA to marry Sally Dugger. John Dugger was bondsman.

Named in the will of John Dugger (Sr) dated 6 Apr 1802 as "Sally Duke" and no relationship was stated. It is assumed that she was John's daughter, but that might not be the case. (Brunswick Co., VA Will Book 6 page 467).
