  4.   Source:Thayer, Elisha. Family Memorial : Genealogy of Fourteen Families of the Early Settlers of New England, of the Names of Alden, Adams, Arnold, Bass,, p. 5, says of Sarah citing a manuscript by "J. Dorman": "was married very young to a Mr. Peabody, and settled in the vicinity of Mansfield, Ct. and had by him two sons, John and Isaac, who both afterwards had families. They lived very happily together, enjoying the Love of God and of each other. They both died in one hour and were buried in one grave." Source:Vinton, John Adams. Vinton Memorial, Comprising a Genealogy of the Descendants of John Vinton of Lynn, 1648, p. 54, also indicates that Sarah Peabody removed to "Willington and Mansfield, an adjoining town", possibly based on the prior source. No record of this can be found. The birth of Matthew and Sarah's children, including Seth and Isaac (not John, a son of Matthew's first wife) are found in Topsfield, as is the record of their joint deaths on the same day. Source:Peabody, Selim Hobart. Peabody (Paybody, Pabody, Pabodie) Genealogy, p. 27, makes no mention of Matthew Peabody moving to Connecticut.
