    ... Sarah Febiger CARSON, the youngest of the five married children of Dr. John CARSON, was born December 1, 1791, married August 25, 1818, Joseph Brown LAPSLEY, son of David and Jane (nee MILLER) LAPSLEY, of an old colonial family of good position in early days. He was born February 18, 1787 and died February 20, 1868, two years after his wife, whose death took place July 16, 1866. Of nine children, all of whom are now deceased, three married.
    - Elizabeth FEBIGER to John Motheral WILSON;
    - Josephine, to Richard Bowen BRINTON; and
    - Mary L'AMY to Benjamin Franklin PYLE.

    The LAPSLEY branch is now represented by the following:
