"… Nathaniel Briscoe of Milford, Conn., who settled there in the 1640's and died about 1649-50, having m. Sarah Beard, who m. (2) about 1651-2, Nicholas Camp, Jr. This Nathaniel had two sons, Nathaniel (bapt. 10 Jan. 1646/7) and James (bapt. 6 May 1649), and his widow's first Camp son was b. 11 Aug. 1653. It would thus have been possible for the Milford Nathaniel to have [been related to Nathaniel Biscoe of Watertown] but it does not seem too probable. Aside from the consideration of dates, the Milford man was living at quite a distance from the Boston area."
