  3.   in pension records his age equates his year of birth to 1757. This needs further research. looking at the list of siblings a Benjamin was born in 1757. 1762 seems right. He claims to have been at bunker hill which would of put his age at 13. perhaps that he lied about his age to make his story more believable. There is no doubt he served. Find no records of him serving before 1779 which would put him at 17 which would be an acceptable age to go to war.
