    Bio: John Henry Windle was a son of Samuel and Susan Catherine Keller Windle of Shenandoah County, Virginia. His siblings were Lydia, Rachel, Rebecca, Margaret, Emanuel P, Mary and Henry Windle. He married Nancy Ann Heleine/Halina in 1855 in Shenandoah County, Virginia and they moved from Virginia to Ohio with Nancy's brothers and their families sometime between 1855 and 1860. Nancy and John Henry were the parents of Samuel D, Susanna, Catherine, Mary J, George W, John, William Henry and Anna Windle. John Henry had worked as a shoemaker and then a farmer prior to his early death.
