"Samuel (Williams) b. ca. 1665 (aged 4 on 27 Jan. 1669/70 (Winthrop Med. Recs., 931]), was living in Feb. 1687/8 when his father's will provided that 'my son William pay to my son Samuel £12' (Manwaring, 1:521). Samuel, then aged about 23, perhaps was living at a distance; he was not included with his four brothers appointed to administer their father's estate after their mother died in Dec. 1689."
