David and Rebecca moved to Roxbury and both their deaths are recorded there. This same Samuel is probably the "Samuel Wait" who died 3 Mar 1826, a. 65 y., according to Source:Roxbury, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. Vital Records of Roxbury, Massachusetts, to the End of the Year 1849, p. 2:655. There is no sign of any other Samuel in the Roxbury records. He would have been about 13 years younger than Mary.
