Son of Joshua Waddington 1702 of Oldfield Nook, Cleckheaton, and of North Bierley, nr. Bradford. Had issue 2 sons--Samuel W., of Fishlake, abt. 1735 Bradford, d. 1758, and John W., abt 1737 Bradford, bd. there 1740. Descended from Richard de Wadyngton 1388 of Coley, Halifax.
