He married on 11 Jan 1750 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts Sarah STORY, born 28 Sep 1725 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts; died 14 Jan 1752 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, daughter of Seth STORY and Martha LOW. Notes: See "Descendants of William Story" by Robert L. Pratt, page 54 for the note that the inventory of Samuel's estate 31 Jan 1757 included a quadrant and two books on navigation. His father, Jacob Story, was the administrator, as Samuel had no wife or children at the time of his death. Reference was Essex County Probate Records 26798.
