SAMUEL STAUB New Republic, December 7, 1995

   Samuel Webster Staub, 76, of Springs Road, Grantsville, Md., died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1995, at Meyersdale Manor.  Born June 20, 1919, in Somerset County; he was a son of the late Robert and Margaret (Beal) Staub.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Victoria H. (Testa) Staub, on Dec. 29, 1993.   Staub was retired after 33 years of service as a cook for the B&O Railroad.  He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and was a member of Charles E. Kelley Post 112, American Legion, Meyersdale; Fraternal Order of Eagles, Guernsey Aerie 386, Cambridge, Ohio; and past president of the Maple Leaf Rod & Gun Club in Meyersdale.
