↑ I am not sure where the birth Abt. 1662 that is shown on this page came from, but John and Deliverance Porter had a daughter Mary, b. 22 Oct 1662 (see Source:Vital records of Weymouth, Massachusetts, to the year 1850, p. 1:218), so to be right, it would require Samuel to be the oldest son and to be twins with Mary. Since neither father (John) nor either grandfather (Richard Porter or Nicholas Byram) was named Samuel, it seems unlikely that Samuel would be the oldest son. Source:History of Weymouth, Massachusetts, p. 4:487 shows Samuel 5th in order of birth, in the 5 year gap between John in 1667 and Nicholas in 1672, although no specific year is given.
