His wife was Mary B. Bushnell b. 1822 Livingston Co., NY, daughter of Norman Bushnell who settled in Livingston Co.,NY in 1816 and died in 1847. They were married in 1858. Three children: 1.Charles B. Knight b. 1859 2.George N. Knight b. 1864 3.Effa E. Knight b. 1866. Family is somehow connected to a Jonathan Hill who settled in 1817 and died 1849, aged 80 years.
