Samuel Kellogg Jr. was born to Samual Kellogg and Sarah, 11 Apr 1669 in Hadley, Hampshire Co., MA. Their other children were born at Hatfield, Hampshire Co., MA as follows:
Nathaniel b. 4 Jun 1671.
Evenezer b. 2 Jun 1674.
Joseph b. 9 Sep 1676 and killed, along with his mother, 19 Sep 1677.
Children from second marriage of Samuel to Sarah Root born in Hatfield:
John b. 25 Apr 1680.
Thomas b. 21 Oct 1681.
Sarah b. 13 Apr 1683.
Samuel Kellogg Jr. married Hannah Dickinson in Hatfield, CT, between 1690 and 1693. The marriage record fails to present a date but is listed between those years.
Joseph Kellogg was born to Samuel Kellogg and Hannah Dickinson in Hatfield, Hampshire Co., MA, 18 June 1696. Other children born there were:
Samuel, b. 18 May 1694.
Hannah b. 11 Sep 1699.
Eunice b. 3 Aug 1701.
All 4 children are named in their mother's will written 18 Apr 1745 in Colchester, CT.

DAR record ID# 80989 states that Benjamin married Phebe Stark in 1765.
The same DAR record states that Benjamin Kellogg served as a private in Capt. James Spencer's Company, Col. Jeremiah Hogeboom's regiment, New York Militia.
It also states that he died in Austerlitz, Columbia Co., NY, in 1824.
Records for the Congregational Society in Green River, Town of Hillsdale, Columbia Co. NY (Film #0532616) shows that Benjamin's wife, Phebe was admitted to the church on 30 Dec, 1792, and that Benjamin was a subscriber in 1803.
Benjamin's Will, which was registered 11 Nov 1824 in Columbia Co., NY, states that he lived in Hillsdale, names his wife, Phebe, sons, Samuel, Benjamin, Marvin, Joseph, and Elisha. Also named are daughters, Phebe Stetchel, Abagail Barret, Lydia Gleason, and Elisabeth Olmstead.
According to DAR record ID# 80989, Samuel Kellogg was born in 1781 to Benjamin and Phebe (Stark) Kellogg and married Martha Topping in 1807.
Samuel Kellogg is in Franklin, Delaware Co., NY for the 1855 Census:
Samuel Kellogg, age 73, male, born Columbia Co, married, voter, 49 years in Franklin, farmer.
Harriet Kellogg, 59, female, wife, born Conn, married, 15 years in Franklin.
Jane A. Kellogg married Oliver H. Mann prior to 1829 in NY, probably Delaware Co.
Her death Certificate states:
Her name was Jane A. (Kellog) Smith, age 84 years, 1 month, and 7 days, sex, female.
Birthplace--Franklin, Delaware Co., NY.
Parents--Samuel Kellog born Conn. and Martha Tappin born Conn.
Place of death--198 1/2 Chestnut St. Oneonta, Otsego Co., NY. She had live there one year.
Died--24 Nov 1893 at 2:35 P.M.
Reporter of this information--Carrie A. Mann

Died of Cancer and attended by Dr. G. S. Olin from 1 Nov. to 23 Nov. 1893.
Jane's Obituary in the Oneonta Star published 25 Nov. 1893 states: "Jane A. Smith, a widow lady 84 years old, who for the past year has resided with her daughter, Mrs, Paul Stewart, 198 1/2 Chestnut street, died yesterday at 2:35 p.m. after a long illness, from cancer. The funeral arrangements have not yet been made, but it will be from the house, and the interment will be at the Quaker Cemetery, Morris."
Jane is burried in the Quaker Burying Ground <http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyotsego/cemetery/morbga.htm>, Morris, NY, Next to Oliver H. Mann, Caroline A. Mann, and Nancy A. Mann. The record states: Mann, Jane A. Kellog Smith died 24 Nov. 1893, 84 y., husband, Oliver. The record for the two girls states that their parents were Oliver and Jane Mann.
