He married April 17, 1780, Mary Munson, born Sept. 29, 1756, daughter of Lent and Mary Munson. He lived at Southington, Conn, and is said to have climbed the steeple of the old church there by aid of the lightning rod. He enlisted July 11, 1775, and became a Revolutionary pensioner.
