The 1910 census says that Sam Hill was family # 412 on Newsom Road, with the James T. Briit Sr family listed as #413, and the Charlie Drake family as #411, posssibly in the same house, located 1/4 mile north of the NC line, now known as the old Hill house, and currently owned by the Drake family and used for farming, with the house in major disrepair as of 2007.
