    Samuel Greenfield, weaver, of Norwich, Norfolk, England cam in the "Mary Ann" in 1637 aged 27 with wife Barbara, aged 35, children Mary and Barbara, and servant John Teed. Short time at Ipwich, Hampton, NH, in 1639, exexter 1645. Married (2) Susan, widow of Humphrey Wise.

    Samuel Greenfield, weaver from Norwich in 1637 with wife Barbara and two children, settled first Salem, then Ipswich where abt. 1638 m. (2) Susan, widow of Humphrey Wyth or Wise, selling 4 Mar 1638-9 his farm to Thomas Emerson [Essex Probate 1:11], removed to Hampton 1639, Exeter 1641. In prison at Boston in Dec. 1649 on charges of forgery, after which no further record.
