Samuel Calvin Draper Samuel Calvin Draper of Midland passed away Friday, May 20, 2005. 

     He was born August 3, 1914 in Polar, Texas to Robert Draper and Lily Ford Draper. Calvin graduated from West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas with a degree in accounting. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. On October 30, 1945, he married Reva McLain in Perryton, Texas. Prior to his retirement in 1978, Calvin had lived and worked in California.
     He was preceded in death by his wife in 1997.
     Calvin is survived by his daughter, Linda Sue Draper, and his son, Sammy Draper, both of Midland, Texas.
     Graveside services have been scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 23, 2005 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.

Enlisted June 20, 1942 in the Army in Lubbock, TX. He was listed as a teacher 5'6" tall and 131 lbs.
