Facts and Events
It is not known when Samuel moved to Orange. Samuel Collar was of Orange by 1789 when he sold land there (Franklin Deed Vol. 11, p. 333). In 1801 Samuel Coller of Orange bought land in Warwick (Vol. 17, p. 629), and in 1803 with wife Hannah mortgaged land in Warwick (Vol. 18, p. 386). In 1805 (Vol. 20, p. 520), some of the land was taken to satisfy a judgement against Samuel, and in 1806, "of Bustonville in the Province of lower Canada", he sold the remainder by attorney (Vol. 22, p. 367).
