Samuel ‘Sam’ CILLEY, born 13 Apr 1753, died 10 Dec 1842 in Andover, Merrimack, NH, buried there in Cilley Hill Cemetery, son of Benjamin and Judith (DARLING) CILLEY. He married Elizabeth EASTMAN, born 1759, died 15 Nov 1842 in Andover, Hillsborough (later split into Merrimack), NH, about age 84. He resided in New Breton, NH. Sam CILLEY enlisted in Colonel SARGENT’s regiment in Cambridge, MA, Jun 1775. Afterwards he served in two New Hampshire regiments. He also served in 1812. He lived first in Flagpole near Joseph FELLOWS; moved afterwards to the Paine R. ROBIE farm. Then he moved to "Cilley Hill" in Andover, NH. [H. of A., pp 81-82] Deacon Samuel CILLEY and his wives are buried in Cilley Cemetery on Sam Hill Road in Andover, Merrimack, NH.
