Samuel Choate [#66], s/o Samuel Choate and Damaris Martin, "born in 1730 (bapt. Feb. 1, 1733)", d. 2 May 1799 [sic, 1798 per gravestone], m. 23 Aug 1759 Susanna Pierce. [Note: the recorded baptism is 1735, not 1733. This source seems unaware of the second daughter Anne who is baptized 7 Oct 1733. The asserted birth date of 1730 appears based on the age at death found on the gravestone. However, there is no reason to think this is credible as siblings are baptized in 1730, 1731, and 1733, and if Samuel was born that early, he would have been baptized at the same time or some other date prior to 1735.]
