  3. ↑ This death date is tarnished by apparently coming from a website that shows the wrong wife, Abigail Wheeler instead of Mary Wheeler. It may be reasonable, as Source:Stearns, Ezra S. Genealogical and Family History of the State of New Hampshire, Vol. 4, p. 1560 offers this brief notice: "Samuel Brown was a farmer in Andover, Vermont. ... He lived to be nearly ninety years old, and died about 1830, with his mental faculties unimpaired."
