Mrs. Ledora (Barfield) Britt died at a local hospital at 6:15 Wednesday P.M. from a short illness at the age of 37.

She was born in Emanuel County, and was the daughter of Mrs. Frances (Boatright) Barfield. Other than her mother she is survived by four children, Mrs. R.M. Borowiski, Lawton, Oak., Mrs. Thomas Craft, of Elbertton, Ga., Miss Helen Britt of Swainsboro, Evoid Britt, Swainsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Otis Deal, Augusta, Mrs. A.B. Howell, Elberton. Six brothers, Ray, Reuben, J.B., all of Swainsboro. Charles Barfield, Canal Point, Fla., Rufus, of Greenville, S.C., Matthew L.. Barfield, of Fort Pond, Calif.

Funeral services were held from Hawhammock church at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Rollie Riner officating. Internment was in the church cemetery, with DeLoach's Mortuary in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers were: Osburn Boatright, Edward Boatright, R.J. Boatright, Kenneth Boatright, Ralph Boatright, and W.S. Boatright.”
